Need Large Travel Cage.

Hi, I am sure many of you know bout Big Louis my french lop. Well fair time is approching and he is to big for any of my current travel cages ( He fits in cat carriers but I don't think they have enough air flow) So I wanted to get a larger size, but I don't know what size he would need. He is still growing so it might have to be I bit larger.

I guess I don't know why cat carriers aren't ok, but you could make one out of 6 nic panels, with clips &/or a bungee cord on the opening side & some kind of flooring.

Martin's makes really nice cages, too...but you have to contact them to tell them what you're looking for. I have 1 from them, it's a 2-hole, and quite large to carry, but fits two senior French Lops in it. http://martinscages.com/

Why not a large dog carrier? Nice big comfy bed of hay... would be ideal for a trip

Well, you don't want something so large that they can get tossed around. At least that's what I was told when I was asking questions on carries for shows. It should be big enough to stand up and turn around. And you should put the carriers in so they are sideways. Then, if you have to brake sharply, they don't get their faces smashed into the side of the carrier.
