We rescued a rabbit on monday from a dumb guythat was going to feed it to his dog:(Can anyone tell me homeremedies for bunny sniffles. He was sneezing a lot when we got him andafter fresh air sunshine and a couple of good meals it seems to begowing away a bit. What kinds of vitemins do bunnies need? Any otheraddvice would be appriciated. I always research new family membersbefore we get them but this was a quick desission. Thanks a bunch :D

Welcome aboard,animalrescue,

It's hard to say whether the sniffles is a respiratory problem orallergies or something else. The best thing you can do iskeep the little one away from other rabbits because if it is arespiratory infection, they're highly contagious to otherrabbits. A culture would need to be taken by the vet to knowfor sure what you're dealing with. Respiratory problems mustbe treated with meds for the rest of the rabbit's life in mostcases. A product named VetRxhas been said tocurtail some symptoms, but vetsusually will perscribeBaytril. If it's allergies, which one ofmy rabbits have, an air purifier worked wonders in giving him relief.

Best of luck. I hope you can help the little one.Bless your heart for rescuing the little one from a horribledeath.
