I'm now probably getting a himalayan or ahavana. I don't know which breed to take. I want information oranything on the two breeds, so I can narrow which one down to get.Anything would be great ful.

Thanks,

Cleo

Himalayans are extremely docile and remind me of cats :) Matthew just loves Himis.

Havanas are pretty cool, but some can be a little high strung. (Inearly got through an entire show with no scratches until somesquirrelly Havanas decorated my arms :?)

Well, You can also do a search on the internetwith "*breed* rabbits". I'm sure there is absolutely tons ofinformation out there for you, and so we can't really just tell you allof it. If you do a search I'm sure the information will be of much moreuse to you. Both breeds you have mentioned are smaller, so I'm surethat's good for you. Hope that you find the best for you.

I think I'm going for 1 or 2 himalayans. Myquestion is can they be kept outdoors in a hutch that doesn't get a lotof sun? I read about weather but I can't remember what they said aboutthe weather does something to their coat. My other question is can Iput two does together to see how they get a long? I heard they arereally docile so they might okay to be together.
I saw this havana I like named Skylark and he's blue. He's really nice.I showed him for somebody because she had more than 10 french lops andhad other things to do. Then I showed a himalayan for her and his nameis Bo Jangles, he doesn't have white around the eye but he has a littlebit of light brown. He got BOB. Pamnock please tell me if he soundsgood.
I'm still staying with french lops. I'm going to have 3 french and maybe 1 or 2 himalayans.

thanks,
Cleo

The Himis may get along in a large cage -- itdepends on the individual and you'll need to closely supervise themwhen starting out. I've seen some rabbits seriously injureeach other in fights.

Rabbits should not be kept in direct sunlight. Cold weather during molting can cause a frosted tipping on their coat.

The hutch they will be in is on a side of my shed facing west I think and the shed is facing the east.It that okay?
I have done searches but I want to hear from people, more than aboutthem. I'm know deciding that I'm only going to get a buck because I gota hutch for bucks and a hutch for does because they are both differentdesigns. I don't think I'll breed. If I did then my bunny would be upfor breeding, for like $15-.

Pamnock are you a judge? If so when I get the rabbit, I'll putpicture of him up and you can see if he's a good show rabbit. thanksfor you, guys, help. I appreciate it.

thanks

Yes, I am :) Here's my website:

Also -- I don't advise offering bucks for stud service -- it's a verygood way to spread vent disease :( Weonly allow breeding to does that have been purchased from us and notexposed to any other bucks.
