It might sound silly, but has anyone ever given bunnies pure fruit/veggie juice, and if so, is it 100% safe as long as there are no added sugars or fillers?

My bunnies were begging so badly for my Naked Juice (Kale Blazer), so I gave them a little mixed with water and they were obsessed! It supposedly is nothing but water, kale, ginger, apple, orange (?), cucumber and spinach, I believe. Might have had mint but I forgot. Not sure if ginger is good for bunnies. Is it recommended as a treat/taste and if mixed with water (it is too sweet for me, even if it is pure juice). Just curious.

Ginger root is ok to eat in small amounts, so I imagine it's safe in juice too. I can't think of a reason why the juice wouldn't be safe as long as they only have a small amount and you give it instead of their daily fruit/non-leafy greens ration (not in addition to).

Aside from water juice is mostly sugar (this one 7,6%, coca cola 10,6%), without much beneficial stuff. It's not healthy just because there is no sugar added, it doesn't matter much where it comes from. I would call this hype about those drinks advertised as healthy nothing less than a scam.
Rabbits have a sweet tooth, as a rare treat in small amounts it most likely wont do any harm, but it is in no way better than actual fruit. I would not replace something solid with it, since that is what rabbits (contrary to humans) need to keep their digestion going.

Diluting it with water when offering it as a treat is fine, imo (not the best "every day" treat, though, maybe 1 tsp juice, possibly diluted, a couple times a week would be ok) but like Blue eyes is getting at, absolutely do NOT flavor their primary water supply. You can't really track how much extra sugar they're getting that way, plus they could very easily get hooked on the flavor and not want to drink the plain stuff.

Yes, definitely. I personally almost never buy juice, because even the purest form (Naked, 100% orange juice, natural lemonade) has way too much sugar in it for my preference, so I always dilute it with water.

You are probably right about it being a scam, and I know that drinking it daily will not automatically make you healthy. I was honestly craving a smoothie and that was the closest I found, haha :) Bunnies have way too much of a sweet tooth; if it were up to them, they would eat nothing but candy, cereal, drink juice, etc.

I need to stop feeling so bad when they beg for food/drink :(

Don't forget crackers, pellets, any sort of fruit, carrots by the bucketful and the glass of fruity-smelling wine you left unattended for 30 seconds. Also, sheets and clothes (we've had an insane number of holes put in numerous sets of sheets over the years. I only eventually replaced all the sheets b/c we upgraded from queen to king size mattress). Carpet. Baseboards. Paint off walls (if you're used to apartment living, there's always like 6+ coats on there and it peels off very easily) and the drywall underneath. If you're Alice, also add the tubing that runs the water from your pipes to the toilet tank. The look on her face when I found her in a flooded bathroom will probably always be one of my best rabbit stories!
