Ivy my 1 year old lionhead hates to have her nails done and it's always a stressful time for her so I was wondering if there's any tricks or tips people can suggest or have used when clipping their bunnies nails.

I sometimes put pellets or hay near them so they can eat It. Sometimes I take them to the vet so they can try and if they can't do it they put them under gas 😊

It's time for a clip for my buns too. One of my current buns is especially difficult -- even the rescue was surprised at how difficult. I use a towel to wrap her up like a burrito. I take one paw out at a time and clip that way. I reward after with a treat.

Most of my bunnies are good getting there nails clipped but I have one doe who is difficult and hates being handled.

For her, I wrap her up in the towel burrito and get my brother to hold her as I clip her nails. After the nails are all done, she gets to go have some fun on the grass in a playpen.

Vets and rescue groups will also clip rabbits nails and if you don't feel confident doing nail clipping yourself, taking your bun to the vet is probably the best option :)

Hope I helped! Good luck :D

Thanx guys, yea I think I'll try the towel wrapping thing cause taking Ivy to the vet is always stressful and I find it's easier to do it myself.
