Nail cutting techniques

Today i bought nail clippers, her nails are getting kind of long. I don’t really know what is the right length but its as long as my nails now. I can’t really see them I just touched them. I don’t know how to cut them, I know how to cut nails but I don’t really know how to keep her still. I’m not allowed to touch her hands, legs, and tail. We tried holding her, she stays still but as soon as I touch her hand she starts struggling and jumps, i also tried putting her on the couch and blocking the way down with pillows and it didn’t work, a moment ago she was sleeping and i held her hand and she was fine but when I brought the clipper she ran away. I can’t really put her on a high surface like a table, she will 100% jump no matter how high it was and I don’t want her to get injured. Also I can’t really do it quickly because I can’t see the nails and I need to push the fur here. Do you have any other techniques?I can’t really take her to a vet this month.

To restrain her do a bunny burrito (see video). It is really easy when clipping nails! To push the fur back, dip her paw in a cup of water and the nails will poke out so you can get to them without cutting the fur.

I tried it before, I don’t know how.. but she gets out of it. I just tried putting her on the kitchen counter and my mom held her, she fought like horse and she started kicking and I couldn’t hold her hand.

You don't have to hold her to clip her nails, you can place a hand firmly on her when clipping her nails. Most rabbits hate being held, so it is best to clip their nails while they are on a table or on the floor.
