my rabbit has recently been showing very strange behavior considering peeing and i'm very concerned. she has suddenly "forgot" litter training and starts to pee everywhere. also, all her back feet and tail and butt area is all covered with pee all the time. i have tried to wipe it off but i dont really know how to without using water...she always kicks her back feet out when she is moving around i think because her feet are dirty. i do change their litter pan every day and wipe the pee off the floor every time i see it so i do not understand why she is getting so dirty. any suggestions? please help.

You need to take your bun to the vet to be checked. Sudden loss of litter habits along with urinary incontinence, is a sign of a health problem. She may have a UTI or bladder sludge and will need treatment/medications to help clear it up. You also don't want her to develop a secondary skin problem due to the urine scalding. After she gets the appropriate treatment, the vet may get her bottom cleaned up for you or get instructions from them on how you should clean the urine off her bottom and skin. If she is quite soiled with urine, you may need to carefully give her a butt bath.

Ok so I have just looked at her more in depth and upon inspecting now I believe that she does have sore hocks. (I should have known-she spends hours every day just sitting on top of the litter pan because she likes it there.) Is this like a serious emergency that has to be treated right now??? Or can this wait ~2 or 3 days? Most vet clinics around where I live are not open because it's Sunday . . .

It can probably wait a few days, better for her to be checked out by a proper rabbit vet for this issue than a generic emergency vet.

Try to give her butt and legs a quick rinse under a warm tap once or twice a day and dry it with a towel to lessen the urine burn on her hocks.
