My trip is not starting off well

I was supposed to fly out in about an hour for Greenville, SC. My phone rings at 4:00 this morning to tell me that my flight is delayed. So, I will be arriving in Greenville at 2:30 for a meeting that starts at 1:00.:grumpy: They said it was "weather", but there is no weather here or anywhere else. Grrrrrrrrr.

Once I finally do get on the plane I will have very limited internet access (whenever I can get into the business center at the hotel). See you all Friday.

COuld be a flight was delayed from up here last night and it set it all in motion..... there were really bad storms/tornado watches or warnings I know...

Blah! I hate riding in airplanes, not because of the "ride" part, but because of everything else! Good Luck at the meeting, (Hey, at least you make quite a grand entrance!) I love the Carolinas, hopefully you will be able to have some fun on your trip!!

My sister was laid over all night in Charlotte. She's trying to get on a plane now, but I looked at the weather channel and they're predicting flight delays all up and down the East coast.

I made it to my 1:00 meeting by 3:30. To rub salt into my wounds, I was one of the "special people" chosen for a secondary security search.

I'm not spending a lot of time online tonight. I have to pay $5.00 for every 10 minutes at my hotel!!!!! I sure will be glad to get home.

Did you arrive in time for that nice little storm Patti? It got to Columbia about 9pm and freaked us all the heck out. All except for Ian who slept through the whole thing. Hope the rest of your trip goes well. Tell them to send you here next time.

We had two pretty good gully-washers here. One while we were in our meeting and the other during dinner. They even impressed this Florida gal.

I'm back home now - just barely. I can within about 2 minutes of having to spending the night in Charlotte. My plane was very late leaving Greenville due to a thunderstorm. When I got to my gate in Charlotte they had already closed the door to the plane (it was one of those commuters with the fold-up stairs. I was so grateful that they opened the door for me and let me on!!

I've never been so glad to get home!!
