If it was possible, they'd all be mine in a heartbeat...

This guy's one of my favorites, just the cutest lil' bit :p His name'sMoochie, and his previous owners surrendered him because he chewed.Duh! :X
He's got a bit of an attitude, butthat's probably because he's still adjusting to the rather abruptchange of environment.

Patches is a total mush, andfalls to pieces for a nose rub:

Oreo 1was brought in because her family was "moving". She'sunderweight, poorly socialized, and in bad need of a brushing. We'restill working on her...

Oreo 2 is a shy little guy whose personality hasn't quite emerged yet. We'll see what a few Craisins can do ;):

This is Licorice in his old cage, he's actually in one of the small dogkennels now (no dogs around, don't worry). He needed more space becausehe is one spunky bunny! Run, run, run, stop to circlemy feet, and thenrun some more. Needless to say, I don't havea lot of time to sit and pet him, he just won't stay still! :p

Flora was removed from a neglectful situation. She's in pretty good shape now, and she's a very laidback and sweet girl.

Bunnitude, thy name isMagic. He's actuallynot too bad, no aggression or anything. But he is territorial and nottoo friendly with people. I think the lack of his own space at theshelter and having all the other bunnies around is freaking him alittle, he really needs a home where he can settle down.

This is Ashes, a very sweet and pretty mellow little guy. Last Ichecked, his pasteurella cultures were not back yet so he was still inisolation. I'm gonna spend a little more time with him this week, hereally needs some groomin' and lovin'. He actually startedhonking at meand running back and forth because Istopped petting him

And just this past Thursday I had to swing by the shelter forsomething, and we had2 new bunnies!Duke(sandy/golden) and Daisy (black/silver ticked) are two mini-lop mixesthat were dropped off together because their "owners" (using that termas loosely as possible) "no longer wanted them". They're pretty young, and super sweet! Duke even gave me kisses :D

Very Cute Bunnies! Now if you could just have themall! LOL!

I'm sitting around right now being a 'mother hen' to a doeLOL! She's making a mess of the room shes in right now with hay rightnow as she's building a nest. Darn rabbits LOL! I'm only giving hersmall amounts of hay at a time so she doesn't make a BIGGER mess. :pWhat we do for our animals LOL!

Busy as a bee :p

They are all so very cute, it's sad when peoplejust "give up" their bunnys 'cause they "don't want them anymore". Alady was in my work a while ago and she gave up her rabitt because "itwould bite us when we tried to pat him and give him food." He livedoutside and they didn't spend much time with him.

People like this drive me nuts, why take on an animal if you are going to get bored or too buisy to care for it???

P.S. I be lovin' Duke! I hope you find homes for all of them

Duke's a real charmer :cool:We don't euthanize healthy animals, either, so there's no worries there.

I want all those bunnies! Especially Duke, he is such a handsome fellow. :)

I love all the work you do for animals, you are so very dedicated. :)

Each and every one of those bunnies is darling. It makes me mad as fire when people give up on their pets like that :X.I love your descriptions of them too, I'd like to adopt them all. Areyou sure it'd be noticed if you sneaked a couple more home? :D.

Kate

M.E., I just love all the adorable babes andcan't wait for them to find their forever homes, but at least in themeantime they get to learn from you and your coworkers that we humansaren't all bad. Good luck with the socializing and adoptions.

Fergi's mom

i want them all to as on that bugs bunnt cartoonsays i wii hug them and pet them and last but the most important partlove them it must be so hard not to take them all home thats why icould not work in a shelter or pet store id take them all home with me

So cute! I love them all...To let everyone know, I took my bunShadow with a attitude, who apparantly would bite everyone, was nonesocial ect..took this bun from a teacher who was fearfull to let herclassroom children pet him... well I got this babe home, he licks me todeath, and if there are nips its love nips, he epects love in return.School custodians would listen to his grunts and everyone was afraid ofthis bun. Since I have Shadow, he purrs when I pet him, kisses meconstantly, I cant sick my finger in his mouth and will not bit, andyes he has moods if he does ont see me all day and will grunt andbehaive like my children would. I could go on and on, but I am can sayShadow came from a bad place and is so happy now, he has come so far inthe past 4 months.
