Ever since we found that stray kitten Tommy,he and Lewis have become best friends! Now I'm starting to think they assume they are the same species. Lewis is usually hopping around the house(somehow he has no trouble doing so on wooden floors). He and Tommy chase each other and groom each other. Unfortunately,Tommy has turned my well behaved bun into a mischief maker. It's very common to hear crashing and then the scampering of two pairs of tiny paws. They've made this old sofa into their own little hideout and every time they get in trouble they speed over and never the couch. Those two are inseparable and Tommy has now taken to sleeping in places where Lewis's cage is in sight. Both have been adopted by my older male cat Beauregard. It's quite the sight to watch him lead a small parade of an orphaned kitten and a small rabbit. :bunnydance:

--it is incredible world when wildlife get along so well--odd couples,,--we also have rabbits/cats,--only one rabbit in the house-who is over 8 yrs.old-+-5 cats less than 5 yrs.old,,--all the cats grew up adoring the rabbit-(raisin)-everyone gets along swell---mischief makers,?-I love it--don,t you wish people could do as well.??--keep up the good work,--sincerely james waller :bunnyhug::thumbup

awww that's so adorable! It is so fun when pets have a bond like that, not to mention the fact that they are even different species.

So do I! I wish Lewis would bond with my other bunny Clark(the reason we got Lewis) but Clark will have nothing to do with him. I'm pretty sure though that Lewis and Tommy don't even know they're not "brothers" or the fact that they're completely different species! They both were sorta babies when they first met so they've just grown the last few months with each other never knowing the difference!
