hello my rabbit has reached day 33 and still has not given birth. she is visibly larger, and i have put lots of straw in her nesting box but she doesnt seem to have pulled out fur that i can see, or made a nest. help please.

Isn't the waiting game fun?
One of my girls consistently kindles at day 35, still in the range of "normal". Offer her lots of nesting material like hay outside the nest, so that when she feels the urge she can go to work. You can put enough for a nest in the nest in the box, but there should still be room for her to carry in more.
Mine pull fur just in time, for me that's the sign that it can't be any longer than a few hours then, but there can be differences and screw ups. So keep an eye on her, check every few hours, when you see her nesting and/or fur pulling check frequently to be there if kits get born outside the nest. If the doe doesn't pluck fur, or not enough you can pluck some off her if she lets you (breast/belly area), or prepare alternative emergency insulation like cotton wool or dryer lint if you do not have a stash of fur from brushing.
Don't stress her, but check regularily. 1-2 days before kindling they can lose some appetite, and lounge a lot.

thank you so much for taking the time to reply to my thread, and giving me great advice. it certainly is a waiting game!
unfortunately this time i think she is not pregnant. she is merrily jumping around her cage, huge appetite, no nest and we are now approaching day 36. i think i will leave her a few days, and then put the male back in with her. lets hope this time it works.
