This afternoon I was offered, and I accepted the position as the Kindergarten-12th Grade District Literacy Specialist for the newly adopted Pearson Limelight (testing database) and Inform (tracking testing data) Online Programs.

Basically I'll be writing tests, vetting tests and questions that are written by teachers, and training teachers how to use the program in their schools.

I'm happy. :) It's a job on the same floor, in a different office. I am excited and thrilled. I start the second week of August (I have vacation the first week of August).

wish me luck! here I go again!

sounds so professional, wish i could say i had that, but its not in my field :( oh well, and awesome resume is what ill be stuck with :) and congrats on the new position! now you get to boss the teachers around a bit, lol

We use CV's in the US too, but more for academic or research positions. A CV is typically longer than a resume and includes academic background, publications, research, awards, etc.

Thank you! :)

I've worked until 8 or 9 pm every night this week. Now I'm off for a week. I'm going to try hard to not even check email (wish me luck)
