She was listed as a mini lop, but I kindawonder...she's HUGE!!!!!! But she's a very good girl...sheloves to be held and pet...and even brushed...(thankfully..cuz she'sshedding like crazy!) She bit my son last nite tugging on his shirt, but I think it was an accident as she doesn't seem to have a mean bonein her body...I'm amazed someone would give her up...someone at somepoint took ALOT of time with her as tame as she is and shes very welllitter trained. I put the boys in with her last nite for afew minutes and of course there was the usual mounting...but then therewas alot of licking!!! My goal is to get her in with them inthe big NIC cage later...but going to wait til they are neutered andhealed...until then it'll be playtime etc to get to know one another.

Anyway..enuff of my babbling...on with the pics!!!!

Curious on opinions..do you think she looks likea mini? She's HUGE compared to my other 2...granted they areyounger, but vet said last nite they won't get alot bigger....

Oh my! What a beauty she is! She reminds me so much of my daughter's rabbit, who we named Cookies'n'Creme.

Here's a pic of 'Cookie'(with her best friend Hopscotch), who is alop.... I'd imagine she's much smaller then your new girl, Oreo:

Sorry the picture's with her back facing the camera....
she must not have been in a very picture-taking kind of mood that day.

She is so cute! :) And Im sure a lot happier to be in a home with someone who will love her! Congrats!

Hi Putergeekgirl,

She's gorgeous! I love black and white buns!

Do you have any idea how much she weighs? She may be crossedwith a larger breed. I think the standard for minis is 6pounds, but mine got up to 11 pounds at one point!

Laura

WOW!!! No I don't...I should run her by the vetand ask them to just weigh her for me...LOL! I'm guessing atleast a good 8-9 lbs. I took the boys to the vet yesterdayand the largest was a lil over 4 and after holding her they seemtiny!! Looking at her ears she seems like a mini...but notlookin at the rest of her! But she's a doll...thats all thatmatters...I'm already limiting her pellet intake...had her out for abit this morning and she was pretty active...so will keep up at thatpace and see what happens from there!

She's so cute. Sage, my mini lop, weighs about 8 lbs and my vet thinks he could use to gain somemore. When I went to get Sampson, they had pure mini lops whoweighed around 10. I thought they were huge, but she saidthat anything under 11 lbs is considered a mini? I don't knowif that's right, but they show and seemed to know their stuff, but 11lbs for a mini? That seems so big to me, but who knows, I'mprobably wrong. LOL

Thanks..thats interesting to know...I called thevets office and they said to run her by after 4 and they'll gladly letme weigh her. I took her outside and let her run around a bit..she'svery tired now, but had a ball! I don't think it'll take herlong to take off a lil weight if I can keep getting her this kindaexcersise...just don't think she got it much before!

Ok, she's not nearly as huge as she seems! Sheweighed in at only 6 lbs! I was guessing her to be like 8!!!Still gonna keep her cut back on her pellet in take and increase theexcersise. Have had her outside a couple times today and got somebinkies even! I think we're off to a great start!
