:woohooSo my mom went into the hospital yesterday and they ammitted her last night. Well were all on eggshells. We got a text from my dad at 4:06 this morning saying we all had a new baby sister!!!!!!! Yay!!!!!!!:stork:

As of right now I have no info and no pics but I will get all of that ASAP. Us kids were home cause my sister had to work and my brother has school.So now I am stuck at home alone. yay. not. So I'm gonna try to convince my dad to come and get me.

But anyway her name is Payton Cherokee. Soooo cute.

Lots of prayers for Payton and my mom. We are sooooo happy to finally have her here, it seemed like she was never going to be born LOL!:time:

Thanks and she is doing great. She is very smart. she is already trying to hold her head up and can a little. She will copy some words as long as you say them slow. She went to the doctor the other day and got a clean bill of health.

Congrats on being a big sister again! Sorry I am posting so late, I saw your post on the pregnancy thread a while ago.

I'm just wondering since she is obviously only a few months old, how she is "copying words as long as you say them slowly?"

She is really mature for her age. She is only 2 months but she can roll herself over she is already saying words, daddaand dad if she is mad, momma, bub, some others I cant tink of right now. She can hold her head up pretty good and working on her body. she is already trying to crawl.

I highly doubt 2 month old can say daddy and dad let alone read your lips and copy. She is far to young to comprehend that. She is advanced for being able to roll, some babies are advanced, but not in speaking skills at that young of age.

Actually she can the WIC people and her Doctor and nurses have heard her. She is very advanced. Even in the womb she was. She knew when my dad was close and when he'd leave, he is a trucker, she still knows. She is a very very advanced and intelligent baby. Melinda, her doctor even said so.

Hmm well whatever you say. I'm pretty sure though its just baby babble that you are confusing with her actually saying words which is impossible. Some baby babble does sound like they are speaking but not at that age.
