I made this memorial today for my hamster, Harry. I've been too upset over the past couple of days to do much, but today I finally felt strong enough to tackle the project. I knew I wanted to do something to remember him by - he was just that special...

I don't know if the text will be clear enough so this is what I wrote: You may be gone, but you'll never be lost from my heart. You'll forever be my silly little boy. I love you Harry...

Okay, totally crying now. Got to go.

Okay, wait, I guess I should explain it more. It's in the shape of a pear. Harry had a pear as a house since he was too fat to fit in the regular wooden houses or small igloos. He loved his pair and would almost not even fit. The yarn actually looks just like Harry would when he would be sleeping in his pear. Oh, I miss him so much...

I beaded a handle so I can hang it in my room. Why'd he have to go over to the rainbow bridge? I want him back! Sorry...

Good for you sweetie! And don't worry, crying helps alot.

What I did for my dog, Samson, who passed away about 4 years ago, I write him letters when I'm sad. I have a huge envelope full of them. =]
