My husband is so wonderful. Have I mentioned that before? (Hehe...)
The other day, he was travelling around for his work in his fellowworker's workvan, and came upon two doggies wandering around in arather busy street, confused looks in their faces...
They didn't seem to know where they were, or which direction to go in,so he stopped the van, and he and another lady (complete stranger thatalso wanted to help the pups) ushered them into the back of theworkvan.
He checked their tags...turned out they lived right down the street,just a couple blocks from where they currently were!:shock: So, he set out to find their house.
My hubby says that they seemed really relieved just to be inside avehicle and were really happy (tails wagging) when they saw he washelping them.
Then, he said, they went ecstatic, tails wagging wildly, when he turnedon their street. I guess the sweeties knew they were home!
He found their house, and returned them to their owner. Turnsout the lady had just left the house about twenty minutes before, andthey had to have gotten out somehow while she was gone, because they'dbeen there before she left.
My husband said that they were SO happy to be home...poor dears hadn'tever gotten out before, so, though they weren't very far from home,they still couldn't figure out how they'd gotten to that street, andhad been quite disoriented by the time my husband found them.
Isn't my Danny a prince?? He was so happy to relay the storyto me...so proud of himself and how he'd helped two sweet big ol'puppies.
I love him so much...he's a big ol' softy, and though he doesn'treadily admit it, he's got a huge heart for animals. I guessI'm rubbin' off on him!
