My husband is in trouble when he gets home!!!

I get a text from my husband "Please Call 911. I need help! Hurry." I start having a mini heart attack. So i call him because hes at work and I have no idea why im calling 911 and cant just tell 911 "My husband works at the shipyard, he told me to call 911 and I have no idea why"...so i called him. He had no idea what I was talking about. Then he said "Oh, theres this button on my phone and I wanted to see what it does. I guess now I know what its for" The button is a 911 button that sends a text to your emergency contacts in your phone. Seriously?!?! It would take you less time to call 911 yourself than to text someone and tell them to call for you but not have reason as to why youre calling 911...SO STUPID!! I couldve gone into labor over that text!!! I dont know if I should laugh or be mad lol:X:laugh:

Omg I would totally freak out! Haha, I mean once I found out he was fine I'd probably laugh but yes what a way to stop your heart!!!!!

When he got home, I told him he was not allowed to come in the house....told him to go out back and sleep in our dog's purple dog house and I would bring him a blanket

Good for you, I would have done the same. Good thing you didn't phone 911 as it is a criminal offense to phone unless it is an emergency. You could have been charged, then you hubby would have been in more than the dog house!!!!!

The funny thing is, I should've known something was wrong with that text because an ambulance cant get through the gates at the shipyard, so there is a special number that has to be called for 911 and the shipyard doctors have to do it. Then they have to transport the person to the gate for the ambulance to pick them up. So really, it would be pointless for me to call them. But I didnt think about that lol

If my husband had to text that long of a message, the emergency would be long over! He is soooo slow at texting, lol. For that reason I would've been super suspicious. (He has an old flip phone so he has to push a button 3 times for certain letters)

But for you, I can't imagine what was going through your mind. Oh, my!

yeah, when your significant other tells you to call 911, I imagine you'd be more concerned with what happened than the background logic!
