My house is being power washed - right now

I have dove grey siding (and brick red shutters) that is just terrible with the green/black growth that nature seems to provide. Of course, I've seen worse but this light color just really seems to make the stain seem more noticeable. I live pretty much on two rivers which makes this worse I think but does anyone have any idea how often something like this needs to be done?

Well, it depends on the area you live. If you live in a place that gets pretty dusty, moldy etc. you might need to have it done once a year. I know people who never have it done.

Have you considered buying your own pressure washer? they come in handy! we have one and use it for our deck too - it will take the old, yucky look of an aged deck and make it green wood again and we can stain it. We use it for the trucks, trailers, house, sheep stall, horse stalls, cages, etc. You need a strong one but not an industrial one.

I do my house every 3 years, and I live in the south... the deep south *snikker*
