I have to go though all the animals I have and finish adopting them all out. I had to find a a new apartment for next year and this one decided I can only keep one critter, which I guess is an ok thing since its a very small efficiency. I really think it would be in Em's best interest if I adopted her out to another person who has another rabbit for her to play with and more time then I will have for her next year. I really don't want to give her up because as far as I'm concerned once they are mine, they have a forever home with me but in this case I also have to think about what's better for her. I would leave her with my sister but she's off next year for her first year of college so she's not an option and my mom is going to have to take her critters in and Em won't get the attention she needs.
Since I am not going to be able to give her her forever home now I want to find someone with experience with a rabbit thats not all cuddly even though she looks like she is. I also want her to go to a home with another rabbit that she can hopefully bond with again. That really seemed to be the only time she was really happy in the two and a half years I've had her. I don't know what she went through before I got her but I hope she's at least been somewhat happy with me. I really have put a lot of thought about whether or not to keep her but I think it will be better for her to be back with another rabbit which I just can't have right now. Please help me out with this. I live in Winona, MN and will be making a trip home to the Milwaukee, WI area on April fourth.
