I'm so worried about her, I know she will probably be fine though :( We dropped her off at 10am and we have to pick her up at 5pm (it is now 2.20pm). We haven't heard anything so I take it as a good sign.

Keep your fingers crossed for her guys! Thanks!

my fingers are crossed! my dog needs her spay too but we are waiting because there is so much going on right now.

I"m sure she'll be fine. You can call the vet and ask if you are worried. When my puppy went for his neuter I got them to call when they were finished to let me know how it went.

I've watched sooooo many dog, cat and rabbit spays/neuters and I have never seen anything go even slightly wrong, so don't worry! :)

Come to think of it, I've actually watched a cow get cut open from top to bottom to correct a displaced abomasum. I was worried I might faint.....especially as the cow didn't know and was just munching hay obliviously :/. I didn't though, but was close to it. All they said was 'if you feel like you might faint, try and faint away from the cow' LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was like '....er....okay then I'll try'.

Sending good luck thoughts her way, but I'm sure she'll be fine (albeit a little sore and peeved) :D

She came home a couple hours ago, and she is fine except really sleepy and sore I'd say. She hasn't really eaten but is drinking. So hopefully she'll be fine!

We are a low income family so thankfully we got it done for just €20 ($25 £17) through Dogs Trust

Wow that's really good! Glad you got their help, and glad she's doing good!

Ya our other dog has been costing us hundreds lately, she has Cushings, so we couldn't have gotten it done without them! :)

I'm really glad they r there to help people hu really need it :). I hate moochers, cos that takes away from people hu really do need it, through no fault of their own (like you and your poor other dog).

Lol! Actually the first thing the vet. nursed asked us when we enquired was how much we paid for her. When we told her nothing, she said oh that's fine. It's just we get people in who go off and pay up on €700 for a puppy and then except to be able to get it cheap through the programme. Stuff like that really annoys me!

Hmmmmm now THAT annoys me. Or people who have like 20 pets so therefore say they can't afford to take one to the vets if needed.

DUUH??!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only get the number of pets you can support then lol.

People could have 50 pets and it would be fine, as long as they could support them all.
