I was on here talking to Hannah (pOker) and my dog vomited and was shaking and looking really bad. So we rang the vet, and brought her straight down, we had to wait awhile cause he was on call and out on a farm. Anyways, she had a small stroke and went blind :(We kind of guessed she couldn't see because she kept backing into corners and was barking, she was scared.

He gave her an injection for shock and some meds for us to give her, she is wrapped up and asleepnear the fire. I'm not doing too good, she is also on a diet and currently under going tests because she might have cushing's disease. He said the stroke was most likely nothing to do with the weight or the disease she most likely has, just old age. He said she should recover but I just feel like everything is piling up, she was never, ever sick throughout her whole life so it freaks me out that she is getting sick now. I don't think she will be around for much longer and I can't remember a time when we didn't have her :tears2:She is at least 15 years old, so I was just a baby when we got her.

She is like a brother or sister to me, which may sound weird but it is true and I don't know how I can cope if she....you know. It will be just like losing a family member.

Sorry for moaning here but I just needed to get it out :tears2:
