My Netherland dwarf Doe is wheezing and she won't eat but she drinks ALOT i have her in a cage next to me The Man I got Her From Said she has a cyst in her stomach and i can always feel it and she is Skin and Bones she is bred but we are going to terminate the pregnancy to see if that helps a little bit
:(

Have you had her in to the vet? If she's not eating that's really something you can't leave long. As for the wheezing, is it always, or just when she sleeps of something? Is her nose wet? When my bunny was wheezing she had a wet nose.

Glad to hear she's eating and drinking, but wise to go see your Vet. I would do the same thing.

Hoping all is well. Please keep us informed. Wishing the best and hoping whatever she had has passed and she's on the road to being her ole' self again.

thanks

With 19 rabbits, it's no wonder you seem a bit overwhelmed. Maybe you should keep the bucks & does separated for awhile so things can settle down & work out some kind of plan.

they are separated we have bucks on one side of our barn and the does on the otherside and the does and kits in the middle so the sun can shine on them when they are bred in the winter like they are

So how's your little girl doing? Did you get to see a Vet or talk to one about your bun?

Hope all is well.

Have you ever tried Alfalfa? I did with my little guy. Dr Joe wanted me to put some weight on him. I bought a bale of alfalfa. Worked like a charm. Did have to wean him off of it because alfalfa to bunnies is like sweets to us. Alfalfa will make your bunny fat but it's great to help put on weight.

Just a suggestion. Hope you can put some weight on your skinny girl.

Please keep me posted on how your little girl does.

K :)
