Cleo started vcmiting this evening. She wasshaking horribly and very lethargic. We were worried sick! Watching herlike a hawk. She was in my husband's lap and I had my hand on her. Werealized she wasn't moving. Panic! She quit breathing! We did the onlything that came to mind. SHAKE HER! She came back out of whatever itwas. Still lethargic though. I paged the vet and he said he would meetus there.

She was going into shock from pain. Did a fecal test. Negative.bloodwork. Negative. She has a blockage in her intestines. We don'tknow what it is that could be there. He gave her several shots.Baytril, Centrine, Banamine, and Reglan. If she doesn't quit vomiting, she will have to go back in the morning.

Good morning. Well she is still very much ill.She threw up twice during the night. No pee or poo. She islaying in a corner shaking. I will be calling the vet in acouple of minutes to see what is next.

I gave her another shot of the meds he gave lastnight. We are giving her until 3pm. If she is still throwing up, shewill have to have an IV of fluids and an xray. Come on girl!

She is doing pretty bad right now. Sheis throwing up tons and shaking. But when I walk up the the pen shegets excited. Mommy mommy! I feel bad! I just keep petting her andtelling her she is a good girl. When I think she has stopped vomiting,I get her out and let her be normal for a bit.

She seems to be doing ok this morning. She is actually sitting up. That is good. I just want her to eat, and pass it normally!

Things went from ok, to bad, to worse. She isnow in the hospital. Her white blood count is off the chart, she wasdehyrated and went into shock. And her organs were beginning to shutdown. She would have died sometime during the night.

They are aggressivly treating her now.

Oh binkies, this must be so hard for you...I amsending a ton of prayers Cleo's way. Praying that the vet will be ableto bring your baby back to health very quickly...

I went to see her today. She is doing a tonbetter! The xray didn't show a blockage, so I guess the enima helped. She was just so far downhill that she wasn't able to come out of itwith help. She is going to stay another night (boy is this going to beexpensive!). I will go back near closing time and visit with heragain. It made all of us feel better.
