Hey all, I'm new. I have two rabbits; Willoughby, (not connected to Bex's boy), whom we got just over a year ago, aged 8 weeks. He's a dwarfy X, slightly smaller than your average rabbit. We weren't intending to get another rabbit, in fact we were considering re-homing him, as my mum's allergic; but then mum's friend's daughter had to re-home her rabbit, as she couldn't look after him properly. Of course, we took him, and now we just have to keep them outside(willoughby was a house rabbit) and make sure mum's not around when we bring them into my room. As long as she isn't in the same room as them, and we change our clothes after cuddling them(rabbit fur), things are ok. Luckily! Reuben's about 2 and a half, apparently also a dwarf X, but the gene seems to have been reccessive, as he's actually quite big. He had big behavioral issues when we got him, as he wasn't used to handling, bit and sprayed a lot, so we got him neutered. He's still isn't very comfortable with being held, but he's improved a LOT. He's finally accepted Willoughby, and they now share a cage. Enough rambling, I think, and onto pics!
Here's Willoughby when we first got him, beside Galahad(r.i.p); we originally got him as a friend, but that didn't work out. Then we discovered it wasn't advised to keep them together, anyway.
Kindly sharing 'his' armchair with Chucky.(that had to stop, he's not allowed in the lounge anymore, due to mum's allergies.)
I thought I had more pics on pb, but it looks like I don't. I'll upload more piccies later, and start a blog thingy. Anyway, here's Benny-Boy. Kindy ignore the dust under my sister's bed.
I love the deep brown of his eyes, though the flash makes 'em red.
Just chillin'.
Aren't they cute?
