My bunny is sneezing while eating hay

Hello! My rabbit has been sneezing today, only today! While eating, 2x now. Is it something serious? He’s eating hay, and he’s been eating it for 2 weeks now.
This is my first time having a pet rabbit so plss help me thank you verymuch!

He probably just got dust in his nose. I suggest shaking the dust out of the hay before giving it to him. If his nose starts running (which would indicate a respiratory infection) then he will need to be taken to a rabbit-savvy vet.

If the nose does start to run, but the mucous is clear, then no need to rush to the vet. In that case it could just be a tickle in his nose from a piece of hay or from hay dust. It is when the mucous becomes cloudy or colored that an infection is indicated.

Be sure your hay is in long strands, free of mold, and more green than brown.

Hay dust in all probabilities or it could even be building dust. Try changing position while dusting the house and try using dust free hay.
