I have had Rabbits my whole life and recentlybought one with my boyfriend. Okay not recently but it suredoes seem like that! She is a year old and we decided tobreed her. I have done alot of research but I was justwondering if anyone had some tips from when their rabbit had babiesthat they would like to pass on! THANKS!!:D:):D

One thing i have found with some new mothers isthey can get pretty snarky about someone touching their first litter ofbabies , their natural insint is to protect and guard lol nothing worsethan a loveable rabbit coming at you all teeth and feet lol but you getover it , its ntural

What i do is before even thinkng about touching the babies is topet and sweet talk the mother , that way you dont change the scent ofthe babies with your hand , it tends to sooth the mother a bit . thosome still will be snitty aboutit but talk in calming soothing voicesto her constanly and she will be fine with it .
Also have some neutra-cal on hand just in case , i also like to feedout Kay Tee feed its a bit pricy but it also have some good stuff n itand lactating moms seem to go for it . ONLY dont feed it as a constantdiet as there are way to many treat type goodies in there . a portlyrabbit isnt a happy rabbit . also i think Carolyne has put up a threadfor new babies , gr i cant find it but you can go to Cheat Sheet forrabiits it a great thread and has lots of wonderfull advice Good Luckwith the new kits
