I thought I should share. I also ended up with a rescue bunny today. I couldn't help it. A women was outside of the pet store begging people to take him. He has been fixed. I have the paper work to prove it. She was a stay at home mom and her husband had lost his job. They could not continue to pay for food, hay and litter when they can hardly feed the kids. So what could I do? :) She gave me his cage and everything she had for him. He is very cute! Just needs to go on a LITTLE diet. Her kids kept feeding him treats all the time. Now he is a porker! His name is Joey. I will include his photo as well as on of my two girls Lilo and Bailey. We are one big happy bunny family now :) ! you can click on the images to see them in larger format.

and last but not least Joey ( lovingly called fat boy!)

Great setup! Your bunnies look so happy, even Joey. He looks like he is settling in quite nicely. Thank you for taking in that bun. One can only imagine where he could have ended up with that lady begging for someone to take him *shudders*

Looks awesome! Great thing you did and taking Joey.

Does that mean you won't be getting Q.

Bless you for taking in Joey :) I probably wouldn't have been able to tell the lady no either!
Joey looks like a handsome little man, even if he IS a little overweight. More to snuggle, right? :)
Lilo and Bailey are beautiful as well.
WELCOME TO RO! :biggrin2:
