lately it seems like my 4 month old mini lop hates me... he used to love cuddles and lick me all the time but lately whenever i try and snuggle with him he's just more interested in running around. he never licks me anymore :'(

what do i do?

My guess is at 4 months your sweet baby bunny has hit puberty :) Their personality can become quite different when they mature. Neutering may help matters.

lol dont worry about it. my bunny did that too about that age. it is puberty lol. my suggestion is to get him fixed.

1) will be calmer and not so aggressive
2) wont start with spraying to mark his territory (it's a pain in the butt to clean every day from the walls around his cage)
3) healthier for him
4) wont be so hormonal and want to hump everything (unless to display dominance of course)

and i'm sure there are a few other reasons to do it, but i'm kinda tired right now and cant think lol. now none of these are guaranteed to happen after bunny gets fixed, though getting him fixed should help at the least.

i think he's pretty pubescant, we first had 2 rabbits who were the BEST of friends, then after a few weeks it turned into an all out brawl. he has a hole in his ear cause he wouldn't stop humping his former best friend!

max humps, then wolfgang attacks, then it turns into a fur flying bunny brawl :( we've separated them now, but before it was just horrid. :(

do you think neutering both the boys will make them able to bond again? are there ever cases where bunnies just WILL NOT bond, ever?

so sad, i feel so sorry for them, we got 2 so they could be friends :(

neutering helps, though its not guaranteed. bunnies remember the fights for a long time. you'd have to take it really slow and try to trick them into friendly behavior to help create good memories.

Agree, usually once they have fought even neutering may not be enough. Personally I would never advise bonding 2 bucks even if brothers. Once in a while you hear of it working but mostly it doesn't.
Also there is no guarantee that any 2 rabbits will bond... That's why if I sell any I advise on siblings (brother and sister) or them purchasing the opposite sex of a similar young age as soon as possible. It's far easier to bond youngsters. Hope you resolve this though.
