i'm newish to rabbits. i use to rescue guinea pigs so every so offen have rabbits come in to. saddly after a year of rescuing i've had to give it up due to ill health then found out expecting my third child.

on the day irehome the last of piggys needing homes i lost the baby. i kept 6 piggys and 6 rabbits. however a week after the others went i lost three piggys are self and the vets tried every thing but they lost the battle we still don't know why.

My rabbits live in two trios in the shed which has been made in to two 4 by 6 pens.

Daisy my first rabbit she was kept in a indoor cage meant for piggys (still wouldn't keep them in one) at bottom of the garden reason for rehome was the male rabbit wouldn't leave her alone. a friend took her on then asked me week later to take her, i agreed. She didn't tell me and imfo so had a surpise two days later when i found her giving birth. She had litter of 5, 4 where still born and the last one we didn't think would live. However buttercup is still fit and health 6 months later. she just like her mum apart from half ear missing.

Bingle came to me from hobby breeder who breed piggys and rabbits. she had used him and then didn't have space for him. he's a real sweetheart i fall in love. i was offered one of he's babies to keep him company which i agreed. however he had other ideas and him and Daisy fall in love so i got him fixed to live with her.

Then the breeder conacted me she couldn't find homes for the babies so could i take two females. i'm softy and agreed so ended up with Poppy and Primrose.

last of my 6 still not sure on name came to me as my last rescue it was to cold and she was still baby to use my outdoor cage so decided to try her with the babies Poppy and Primeose as indoors they get on so well i can't spilt them.

sorry long story.

Many bunny's recommend their slaves to this site so we may learn of others methods to keeping our furry masters happy.

If you everhave a sick bunny, please post in The Infirmary and include your rabbit's age, breed and health history as well diet and output details leading up to the problem.

I have listed some links I thought you might find interesting:

*For reference the Library section

*To brag or tell everyone about the antics of your bunny or just to talk about your day here is where to start a Bunny Blog, you can also look back at it later and remember when you had a life before your bunny.

*Now all the bunny’s like talk to each other when we mere slaves aren’t around in the Bunny Chat is the spot to be.

*Rabbits Online also has regional forums , this a good way to find a vet in your area that has experience with rabbits and to find out from other nearby of good sources of rabbit supplies.

The Let Your Hare Down section is for anything non-bunny related.

Here is a link tothat will help you and your bunny to connect, How To Bond With Your Bunny.

Now every forum has rules and ours can be found with this link Rabbits Online Forum Rules. This gives guidelines on what is acceptable, what is not and how we hope everyone will treat each other.

Everyone on this forum loves to see pictures of each other’s bunnies. So if you would like to post a picture this link will help you do that, Upload Photo's to Photo Gallery. Then in the post, you click on the "G" in the tool bar to insert your photo. Many people also use Photobucket. You just copy the img file and paste it into the post.
