my bunny accidentally drank a little gatorade

so, I had a cup of gatorade and ice sitting next to me and, unbeknownst to me, Mordecai my 1 year old Holland lop decided to take a couple sips. Will he be okay? I read on the internet that gatorade is really bad for bunnies, but he hardly had any at all.... I hope he will be okay!

I can't answer about the Gatorade but I can make a suggestion & that's getting a plastic glass with a lid & straw for cold drinks & a travel mug for your hot drinks to prevent accidental bunny drink sharing. You can get them at Walmarts, Targets & Bed, Bath & Beyond to name a few places & they are not too expensive. They also help prevent major spills & those nasty summertime bugs from swimming in your glass too! Yuck! lol I love them for all around use myself. Hope your bunny will be okay!

I think I've read that you can give Pedialyte to bunnies when they are sick and Gatorade is similar so I think it will be okay.

As with any accidental ingestion watch out for tummy upset.
The main concern for a product like Gatorade is all the extra sugar and junk. Apart from that its just a expensive electrolyte and processed sugar drink. Nothing real bad to be worried about.
