I thought I would give them their own formal introduction. This also gives me a way to keep everyone updated about the all.
First Aspen: She was a pet shop bun (before I knew about rescuing). Shehas never been a snuggly bun and after 3 years she is finally askingfor nose rubs:biggrin:My friend also got a bun that wassupposedly her sister and they ended up like this:hug2: faster than weknew it. Soon september 25th 2004 she had a litter of6.I kept several of them, and the father's mommy kept one ofthe babies as well. Due to this I have more buns than I intended, but ilove them all!! *Aspen was spayed shortly after the kits were weaned*
Then came Willie, Bear, and Ashlee. Sadly, Willie and Bear passed awaythis year. They both suffered several medical conditions which greatlyweakend them. This, unfortunately, is part of the problem withaccidental breedings. Especially when the parents weren't meant to bebred.
So a little about Ashlee. She is deffinetly my grumpy bun! She muchprefers bunnies to people, so I let her be. She is very content to livewith her mother and brother.
My other Nethie is Crumpet. He is Ashlee's brother and Aspen's son. Hesuffers a malloclusion, so hopefully he will have his incisors removedinthe new year. He actually has the most interesting story of any of mybuns. He was one of only two kits to get rehomed after their birth. Hewas adopted to a friend who became very ill and gave him to familyfriend. I was upset because I specified that he be returned to me, butI was assured he was doing fine. A few months after this I asked myfriend for an update and she lied saying he was doing good. Luckily Iwas browsing petfinder.com (because I am addicted) and stumbeld acrosshim. I saw his picture and knew it was him. So I then adopted him, andhe wasn't in the best shape. He was a little under weight and needed atooth trimming very badly. So he is the only bun I have that was minetwice!
And finally, Queen Holly. Somedays she is a monster, others a cuddlebun, and others a crazy riot girl! She is an amazing bun and has beengreat since I adopted her 18 months ago. She is my baby girl and I willhopefully be adopting her a husbun next wednesday!
