My blonde moment

I just got a new x-pen in the mail the other day, ordered off of ebay, and set it up for Willa. The other night I opened the door for the first time and was surprised to see it wasn't a walk-thru door. Dang, I must have ordered the wrong model. I asked my hubby to look at it to see if the section across the top of the door could be cut out. He looked at the pen, opened and closed the door, turned to me and said........"Patti, you have the pen upside down".

OK, y'all feel free to laugh at me. I laughed at myself.

I used to be an assistant GM and the head GM had blond moments all the time. My favorite was when she went to White Castles late one night after work. She said she had never been to that one before and was quite annoyed because she pulled up and began ordering and the person taking her order kept telling her that he couldn't hear her. She kept repeating the order over and over very loudly. She said, in fact she felt like she was screaming. Finally she told the man that she would just pull around and that they should have their speaker fixed. She said she began pulling up when she saw the problem... She moved up a bit and then was astounded when she pulled up to the speaker.... She had been speaking into the trash can a little before the actual speaker! She said she was mortified but couldn't bring herself to apologize at the window because she felt like such an idiot.
I never let her forget it because we were managers of a KFC and when we had speaker problems in drive thru I'd look at her and say, "Wonder if they're speaking into the garbage can."

That's pricesless! It makes me feel a little bit better about my lapse. Yes, I actually lol'd at myself.

One of my favorite blonde moments was when my GF and I were in Wal Mart, and we were passing by an aisle and she picks up a package and she goes "Ohh! Party hats!"

She was holding a package of snow cone cones.

Hey don't worry! Thanks to this I realized our new x pen is upside down too!! Lol!
