my 2nd ultrasound

Just got home from the doctor. The baby is doing great:biggrin2: The heart rate is at 180 and we even got to see the little legs. Im measuring at 9 weeks and 4 days. I cant wait for the baby to get here. We find out the gender August 11th!!

Aww congrats Rachel. This is your first right? I remember the excitement at my ultrasounds when I was pregnant with my son. There is nothing like it! Congrats!

Lisa, no this is my second. I have a 2 year old daughter. I didnt know that the excitement would still be the same with a second child. It feels like this is all brand new and Ive never done this before

Brandy: Audrina wants a baby brother and she wants him NOW! She isnt understanding that the baby has to grow first haha
Olivia has been acting weird lately. I dont know if she can sense my hormones changing, but she is doing a lot of grunting at me. She isnt as snuggly as usual, so I guess she isnt happy about it

Well, at least Audrina is excited about being a big sister. At her age it must feel like FOREVER to wait.

I bet Olivia can smell the hormonal changes. I know cats can before the person even knows sometimes. It probably makes her feel more territorial since you are "breeding" in HER home.

That's great that it is still so exciting. I don't have any human children, I'm terrified of the whole process hehehee

Oh how fun! Your daughter gets to be a big sister. I imagine the second time around you enjoy it in different ways....maybe not worrying AS much as a first time mom does

Ultrasounds are exciting no matter. It's amazing to glimpse the being inside you. Best of luck to you!! Excited to see your progress

Brandy: it's weird seeing Olivia act like this because my 2 cats and dog won't leave my side. They are attached to me all day. I wish Olivia would cuddle with me

Lisa: it is exciting to be able to see the baby even if it's only for a few seconds I will definitely be updating everyone throughout this pregnancy. It's nice to have such awesome people on this forum to share it with
