My son is looking to get a couple of rabbits for 4-h. We are looking at larger breeds as our housing will be outdoors.

We are looking for plans for a three-four hole hutch that would be sturdy enough to protect his bunnies during Iowa winters.

the only plans I have been able to find are for single buns but those won't work for us.

Any ideas?

If I was to have a rabbit (Hoping to get one)I would need to house it outdoors. RabbitLover (a member) has a really nice cage set up. It is not for cold weather though. For my hutch it doesn't need to be made for snow, just for rain. Once you make the hutch you could put a tarp (out of reach of rabbits) or plywood on the top to keep snow out. It could be like a long rabbit run (with a top) and then have a Snow-proof sleeping area. Sorta like this:

I have no idea about plans. The only plans I find are like this: http://monsterguide.net/how-to-build-a-rabbit-hutch
Which would work but it is too small, so you would need a run..
