Hi everyone! I'm moving in a couple days and I had some questions...

First of all, due to my mom's divorce and some other related, complicated issues... I don't have much furniture. As in, a bookshelf and a bed. I'm going to bunny proof my room when we move, and luckily, I get to get new bunny proof furniture! But I need some help finding it. I'm taking my sister's bed, which goes all the way to the floor, which is great, because Teddy won't be able to crawl under it. But I need to find something to set my TV on, that is relatively cheap, can be bought online, and has storage space to put away my playstation when I'm not playing. (That way I don't have to shoo away Teddy from the wires every time she's out!)

Second, I'm thinking of getting an xpen when we move, and setting it up around Teddy's current cage, because I'll have more space for it. Trouble is, I've seen her jump up on her cage before (which was scary! I don't want her to fall through the bars and break something. :() so I'm afraid that she'll jump onto that and right out of the xpen. Any suggestions to prevent this?

What about those big storage cube shelves?

I have one of these, especially if you get the fabric drawers they're GREAT for storage and actually very sturdy. I think mine even has a hook thing on it for attaching it to the wall. If you don't have a big bulky tv it would fit on it nicely.
As for jumping up on his cage I don't think you can really prevent it. Maybe just keep a sheet of cardboard weaved in and out of his bars so if he does jump up he can't get hurt. And keep the cage itself away from the xpen sides and you should be fine.

Those look really good! Trouble is, my TV is ancient. You know, the kind that's deeper than the screen is wide. :dunno My mom says she's going to get me a new TV since my sister's getting a new bed... but who knows how long that'll take? Still, if I really need to, I'll just put my TV on the floor for the time being and find a place in my closet for the PS3. It'd just be convenient to pull out a drawer or open a cabinet and there it is. :)

I had a similar issue with Honey starting to jump up on top of his cage--I had him for almost a year before he figured out he could do that, and the first morning he did it, he got out of his xpen that I had attached to his cage. I bought some of those wire storage cubs and put them on top of his cage, and now I use them for storing animal food, bedding, rat hammocks, etc...so now he can't jump up on his cage anymore, and I have more storage space :)
