OK so we are moving into a MUCH larger apartment on the sixth. A big two bedroom with window seats and a view of antique row (I live downtown). I can not wait for our move and am starting to pack. Fraggles is not as excited and is trying to unpack. She digs at the boxes and thumps while circling them. She is also circling me a lot! I am also worried about moving day. Should I move her last? Is she going to be stressed that all of her treasure (everything I own) is vanishing? She gets her own room in the new apartment and there will be tons more room for binkies, bunny 500's and laying her huge fatty fatty bun bunness all over the place (Susan I know your reading this. She will be in the window tonight). By the way her new nickname is "Lard". Also, we have a new harness but a very unwilling bun. She refuses to let me put it on her. Any advice on harnessing? Thanks and enjoy this pic!

My 2 little guys don't mind the harness at all- I distracted them with treats the first time I put the harnesses on them, and then let them run in their x-pen to kind of get used to it. They don't even act like they know it's there nowadays. Fraggles is so cute! And I love the nicknames!

Poor Fraggles, she doesn't want to do anything that will make her have to exercise! hehe Hope she adjusts to the harness and I am sure she'll like the new place! When I move with animals I always let them keep a few of their favorite things until the very last second, so not all "their" stuff goes away.

The problem is everything is Fraggles "favorite" thing lol. I am trying to sort threw and get rid of anything not needed. She is under foot constantly. Also she is not going to be allowed in the new bedroom because she gets under the bed her and digs the carpet. So that will be fun trying to keep her from digging at the door.

Katie I just moved in December, 2 friends and I moved the bunnies in the evening after all the furniture and boxes were in the apartment.

I was lucky that I had the apartment a few days before i actually moved so I had all their cages made up with some of their toys in the cages.

Maybe you should fly Fraggles to me:biggrin::nod so I can take care of her till you move. Make sure you tell herI would NEVER call that Beautiful Gil LARD:nope::nonono:.

I tried using a harness on Buttercup he hated it and had chewed through it within 5 minutes of putting it onhim. They can be very dangerous too.

How did they react to there new home? This new harness is specially made for rabbits with a very wide mesh and does not go anywhere she can chew. But I don't want to do anything that would endanger her. You would be calling her lard after her first meal lol.

Actually they were ok with the move probably because the poor babies were moved into the basement while we were selling the house. I just let them stay in their cags for the first day. After that they enjoyed roaming the apartment (not together though).

I would never call herLARD. Sweetie, My Little Beautie or a MILLION other names.:)

Susan:)

LMAO!!! Loving the fatty names. That is my Kramer, he is my lil fatty. He never turns down a meal. I sometimes call him McFatty Pants.

I hope Fraggles is all settled in by now and not scratching at your bedroom door unless you gave in. LOL

Lol I thought miss Willow had a lot of fatty name! Sounds like not as many as some! Also most embarrassingly so, I think Willow is "lardier" than Fraggles :embarrassed:
