My boyfriend bought me two beautiful mice when I visited him recently because my rescued wild ones had something, probably from the wild, and passed in my mom's care. Both of the new mice are females. Both came from the female tank at petco. One, Lunetta, is a satin broken agouti and the other, Solaris, is a (kind of)long haired broken agouti. Solaris is mostly agouti while Lunetta is mostly white. Anyway, I got them both home and settled in a brand new 10 gallon, and for a few days everything was fine. Now they're getting a bit thick around the middle. I'm worried that they're pregnant. I haven't had mice in years, I mostly had gerbils growing up, so I don't know what a pregnant mouse is supposed to look like. But they look like pregnant gerbils, like they swallowed a ping pong ball when viewed from above. Can anyone else more experienced with mice give me an opinion?
