Oh my gosh..my boys are giving me a major headache.

They must know they only have al ittle bit of sperm now, because they are GOING NUTS to get to chewy. Things they have never done before.

Jumping cages (Over 28 inches), Digging under cages, moving cages, honking, everything that could drive me crazy.

I had to remove Kinobe from the pen because he will dig in order to get to her. And by the way; he did. He jumped over the cage that had a sheet as a roof.

:pullhair:

this is not the way it was before. Oh, and the boys can't be together either. They used to ignore each other, or scent mark over each other, but now they will attack

They jsut got nuetered Tuesday, so maybe I am overreacting, but this is insane!

Please tell me in a week they will calm down!

They often also don't accept each other right away because they smell strange coming from the vet's... :) Should get better soon!

Well, it isn't accepting each ohter, it is the fact they have gone crazy! lol!

6 weeks come fast! lol :)

I think quite a few people find immediately after neutering they have a bit of a crazy period. I don't know if it's the hormones going crazy, they feeling better after the op, or the stress/new scents of the vet trip ramping up their urge to mark and act like big boys.

Hehe yeah, I will blame it on that. I think it should be okay, plus I do know it is worth it in the long run. Anakin didn't even have a "rest" period after the nueter..he was acting like nothing ever happend! lol!

that happened to my boy bun, he was acting normal almost immediately. he was neutered on the 15th and now he is completely calm. before the surgery he wouldn't let anyone pick him up and he would not sit in anyone's lap. now people can pick him up a bit easier and he will sit in people's laps a bit longer as long as it's quiet in that room.

make sure you're watching the surgical site. i just noticed on my boy yesterday that it's infected, almost like he was chewing the area. it's weird cause it's been 10 days now and the area looks like the stitching was ripped, but it wasn't (only looked like it was). just watch it, cause now i need to get something to treat it. the sooner you catch something like that the better :)
