More kits???

So remember that lion head I brought home about a month ago? She had kits last night!! 3 of them! They all appear pretty healthy. However, I hve no clue who the buck was! I brought her home and since she has been home, she has not been near any of my bucks! I tried emailing the guy I got her from so we will see what he says. Hopefully they can tell me what happened. If not, oh well I guess.

Uh oh I hope he can give some answers. Was there a chance of her being mated through bars? I have heard of it happening before.

He said it is basically impossible. So must be from here. When I brought her home I had her housed in the basement in a wire dog kennel. So it's a possibility it happened through the wire. Would be from my mini Rex. No big deal, I probably have homes for all already

At least your in good spirit's and can handle it. I got my doe a month ago and my buck fixed 3 weeks before that. If it happened to me I'd be freaking out since I don't have the space for extra rabbits. Good luck.

That is a surprise, and especially with only 3 babies I supposed she wouldn't have really showed. I suppose as the babies grow if they have a bit of rex or similar in them you will have a better idea of who the dad is. Maybe not a desired surprise, but I still want to pics as they grow

Troller: I am not concerned about space. We have lots of space. We have enough hutches built for about 24 rabbits. At this point we only have 7 adults. And well 16 babies now. So if there are some who don't sell I am not concerned.

I will be able to tell in a few days when I can see their whiskers better. I have a feeling its from here. The guy who had her before says she wasn't Near any bucks. His buck is housed across the room. So I am going to just assume it was my cooper
