I swear sometimes it looks like fluffball is really depressed :(

She is just huddled up looking down and well - she just looks sad :(

I don't know what to do - I don't like it :(

Could she have a tummy-ache? Is she shedding and possibly having some GI-stasis problems? Think about how much she is eating and expelling; check her poo's to make sure they look normal. Listen to her tummy and see if you hear anything and give her some gentle tummy rubs and then see if you hear anything further.

After all of that - keep an eye on her and post back what you find.

You may want to look through some of the infirmary threads on moulting and stasis - what you describe her doing is actually a sign of possible discomfort during the onset of a health problem.

Shedding is loosing her fur, moulting.

If she is eating and pooping and has a healthy appetite, I wouldn't worry too much about GI stasis (where their guts slow down and causes a bunch of problems - stop eating, becomes lethargic).

You can try possibly some new toys (cardboard box, towel if she doesn't chew it, etc), she might just be bored. Just try to let her out for run times more often and spend some extra special time with her :).

Buns can have mopey days, especially when molting. I have seen this. Just be sure he's eating/pooping/drinking water. When those stop you have a major problem. That being:

possible Stasis, this is what you asked about, so here are articles from our Library, which you need to know!:)

Enjoy and let us know what you think.;)

Well her poops look normal and I have told em to stop giving her as much food and making sure she has hay - yesterday when she was out uin the run she had a lovely time running in and out of the cardboard box and also when she escaped she was near nibbles so she had obviously ran to him!

I will keep you updated and make sure she gets special time and lots of hay and water!

How's she doing Becca?

I wonder, if she's eating, pooing, weeing and drinking normally, if she isn't a bit lonely? For the company of other buns maybe? I know that it's been a while since she was in with Dippy, but she did live with him for a while... I know that yesterday when Snowy was in the hospital, although Barney was still eating etc, you could just tell that he was missing her...

Although obviously if that was the case there's not much you can do about it until either her or Dippy are fixed lol!

My bunnies always look sad, but they are really sleeping and relaxing. I find they do this more on days that are cool and rainy.

When I went to put Fluffball back in her cage after she had been in the run for the afternoon i notcied that under and beside her mouth she had green stuff it didnt look like grass because it looked like gooey srtuff stuck in her fur what on earth was it ?

I would watch her carefully and give her lots of fresh water and hay. If she stops eating and is acting different....rush her to a vet.

I have no clue what it could be.

Well shes cleaned it off now and she wasant near any trees - it was sort of like her fur hang on lemme try and explain like it wasnt stuckn in her fur it looks like her fur had been dipped in green die if u no what i mean and i think it was sort of sticky:?

The green gooey stuff was probably from where she was eating grass...Casper gets it sometimes when he has lettuce and horse get it sometimes if they are grazing whilst wearing a headcollar/halter.

Well it hasnt happened again and she has had lots of cuddles and time on the harness - when we get Dippy fixed after it is all cleared up etc.. I will try and bond them back together (if they need it) becuase they are still next to each other they cant still see each other only a wooden divider thingy in the way and when one of thems scared they try and get as close as they can so it might not be hard to bond them but you never know!

AWWWW they sound like the miss each other if they are scared and try to get as close to one another as they can! It sounds like you may have some luck in that they may not need to be re-bonded. With what some ppl told me on the forum I was a little worried when I put Miley and Oreo back together. I had oven mitts all ready, the phone book to make a loud noisein case they were fighting (this was suggested because they may stop the fighting with the loud noise) and the water bottle. But in the end they just looked at each other as if they were saying "Hey how's it going" then walked off like nothing ever happened! But I realize not everyone will be as lucky as me!
