Monday, Monday....

Monday.....hmm....if it is a holiday and you don't have to work - does it still count as Monday? Or does Tuesday start as Monday?

Tiny woke me up this morning with these questions on his mind....he was wondering why dad wasn't at work....

I couldn't seem to find a good answer....anyone have one?

Ya'll are crazy!

I didn't have to work- but well - I never really work outside of my home on Mondays! Just Tues and every other wed! Still, I have LOTS to do. Bunny cage day, laundry as always, and bills to pay YUCK!

Just got back from shopping. :biggrin2:

I usually do a "drive-by" to see how crowded the malls are.....they were waiting for parking spots!!! :shock:
So I went todiscount store that kind of off the beaten path. It was pretty empty so I decided to stop in.
I got a new pair of shoes and a belt....but I just couldn'ttry on any clothes. It's hazy, hot and humid here today and all they were showing was long-sleeve stuff, sweaters, corduroy, wool, TURTLENECKS, etc.
I broke out in a sweat just thinking about it.:thud:

I've got some time before my trip.
I need a haircut, too.
Maybe I'll take a vacation day, get a haircut, meet MrsD for a lunch date at the Cheesecake Factory, and then do some shopping afterwards.
Or..... maybe I'll let Jessica take off from school one day and go with me. A "No, not that!" is oft times welcome from a youngling when picking out clothes.

Time for a cold beer and some lunch now!!

~ Chelada Stye Beer (lite beer flavored with lime and salt)
~ Snifter of lime flavored vodka for sipping (optional)

Appetizers:
~ Bruschetta on garlic toasties.
~ Nacho Potato Skins.

~ Chicken medallions in white wine, butter& lime sauce, servedwith seasoned rice.

Dessert:
~Warm brownies topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce.

It's hot and humid here too but by Wed it's going to be in the 60's during the day. Sunday night's low is around 36°F!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
