Moms surgery is tommarow

Hey guys!

Well my mom is having her big surgery to get the rest (hopefully) of the melanoma out of her foot. Since the location (inside of her foot), the skin is very thin and tight, they will have to do a skin graph from her hip. She will be on bedrest for 5-7 days!

I might not be around as much, since im going to have to do alot to help around the house for the next week.

Just send some prayers/vibes her way :biggrin2:

Thank you everyone, it really means alot.

She got out fine .

I got home from school around an hour ago, and I haven't been able to see her yet because she is sleeping . But I want her to rest up, hehe!

It's in a cast, and she is on bedrest for 5 days!

I'll keep you posted on how she is doing!

She's still doing good.

Last night her foot feel off of the pillow that she has it elevated on, and swelled up. She also accidently slept through her main medication dosing time, so her pain was really severe. She said it felt like a dog was ripping her foot apart, and it took 3 hours to get the pain back under control.

Send prayers that tonight will go a little bit smoother .

She is doing great .

We have been having someone come and help with things around the house. Tonight for dinner she made pot roast, and it tasted like cat food, lol! I didn't say anything, because I don't want to stress my mom out or anything.

She will be able to walk a little bit on it on Wed., and is getting the cast off Thursday!
