I finally got my MP3 player!!!! Got a Creative Zen. And I am loving it. Kids think I'm a geek cause I put my new testament on cd on it. But hey it's mine right?

Hey, that's what my son bought for me for Christmas! I'd never heard of a Zen before then, but I love it...prior to this I had a semi-cheap MP3 player that was a bit of a pain, and went through batteries like crazy.

Only complaint I had about my Zen was the set of earphones...the buds are too big for me and I couldn't keep them in my ears. So I had to buy a new set. Otherwise, I love my Zen.

Is it read by a computer? If not, it isn't too geeky. My dad's is read by a computer on his mp3 player, lol. Has a very robotic sound.

ROFL...yah I have same problem with the earbuds. That and they make me motion sick. I can't explain it, but any kind of headphones that are tight fitting do that. And the New Testament that I got I would recommend to anyone who wants to listen to the Bible. I don't have alot of time to read lately. I'm ashamed but when I do I tend towards a good Christian romance. So for Christmas I was given the Word of Promise NKJV New testament audio Bible. It has big anes such as Lou Diamond Phillips, Terence Stamp, Michael W. Smith, John Schneider, Luke Perry, Marisa Tomei, Richard Dreyfuss and Jim Caviezel as Jesus. He's the actor who played Jesus in the Passion. And its really not much more than buying a good leather Bible. Here is the link for anyone interested. You can even digitally download it. I too, love audio bibles - especially on long car trips; entertaining and enlightening at the same time; and I also don't fall asleep to it as I do when I read before bed (lol)..

I am totally hooked. And as I was having major problems with the ear buds that came with the Zen hubby bought me new ones that hook on my ear....ahhhh heavenly.

I have a Zen V Plus. I love it. The best feature is being able to line-in record. Makes it so much easier to get music from the internet without downloading stuff. I never used the ear buds that came with it. I think the ones I have are Sony.
