So our "joey" is now named momma after we found daddy passed away & 2 weeks later momma had babies in a hole. Now 29 days after daddy passed she starting to nest. (Now that we know shes a she we see the signs!)
She only had 2 kits make it from the first litter. Being newly learning bunny parents this is more than we expected. But we have a cozy nest box made for momma & hope that it safe for her to get in & out of but keep her other kits out.
Also worried the first batch isnt weaned yet will they be ok when she starts to nurse the new ones?
Questioning how old to sexual maturity. so we dont have this happen again? Trying to make a good home for our little buns we could use all the help we can get feom this forum thanks for the add
