mom in the hospital

Hello all... my mom is in the hospital because she has a breathing problem. She went in Monday.. and i found out today that she is doing better.. i went up to see her yestresday.. i told her: i love and miss her and hope she gets well. she is a smoker. she had phemonoya <<<spelling problem) .... she also sometimes gets a lung problem cuz when she coughs, her lungs hurt... i tell her that i dont like to see her smoke but she cant help it and she doesnt want to quit... i dont wanna upset any of u about my problem with my mom but i just needed to it to get off my chest... i am upset

I'm sorry things are rough for you right now, but I'm glad your mum is doing a bit better.

It's also ok to post and vent if you need to, plenty of us do

Would it be pneumonia? That's "neh-mon-ia". That's the only thing I could think of that sounds similar to that. I hope she gets better. It's terrible to have a loved one in the hospital. :hug:

Sorry to hear that your mom is having a hard time breathing right now.. Pretty scary, I bet. I don't know if this will make you feel any better, but sometimes smokers decide to quit after a scare like this. I hope she finds the strength to recover and quit smoking for good.

Thanks you guys! you really cheer me and her up.. Heres an update:

She is back home now (she came back on tuesday nite i think it was>too much going on in my head to remember the day :?) but now she is on a nebulizer < spelling?

And she sounds alot better... Thank you all for your wonderful comments!!
