I think you havethe right idea. They've been housed next to each other, they know eachother is around, smell each other on you, see each other....It's not asthough you are trying to get them to be together 24/7. I think it's avery practical choice.
As you said you plan to be with them whenyou have them together. I think if you take it in baby steps andclosely monitor it, it's worth a try.
Have they been neutered? I was justthinking if they had, it might help with the hormone thing, but as yousaid, as least they are over the teenage years.
