Hi everyone! :D
Missy and I are very new to this forum, (new as in 5 min. ago), and want to introduce ourselves.
My name is starrinight, and I am Missy's person(al)(lady-in-waiting).
Missy is a sweet little Lionhead girl, who was recently retired from breeding, and now she resides in utmost comfort and luxury, and lives a very cherised and loved life with us, her new subjects. (Consists of myself, 10 yr. old boy page, two cat jesters, who supply endless entertainment to Her Majesy, and two birds, who do nothing but... be birds).
Very pleased to meet you all, and hope to be talking to you soon. We have lots of questions, and for Her Majesty's sake, hope to get some answers. We are quite new to Royalty, so we'er hoping we don't make any gaffes that get us sent down to the dungeons!
Hi to all, and "see" you soon!

Welcome to RO!!!

So nice to have another new member!
Cannot wait to see pictures of Missy, and ask away all those questions you want to know!

I have 2 lionheads and 1 lionhead mix on the way - their so cute aren't they !?
:D
Bye for now

Thank-You for the welcome, Becca! Yes, the lionheads are just adorable! Before Missy, I thought rabbits were just... rabbits, you know? I'm quickly finding out that there is more to a bunny that meets the eye, lol!
Missy sends love.

I was exactly the same, you think of a rabbit as a brown bunner with pointy ears!!
Or if your small you think its pink and white like the easter bunny! hehe!

Until you have a rabbit and join a site like this you are revealed to a whole new bunny luvin world!

Amen to that, sister! But Easter Bunnies, they are NOT!
I use to think that bunnies were these really sweet and docile creatures, very much LIKE the Easter Bunny, and all those little character and cartoon bunnies, you know?
NOT!!!!
They totally have their own agenda, I'm thinking! :happybunny:

Welcome to the forum!:)

It looks like you have assembled the proper entourage for a bunny of her status. Missy did a find job of selecting her slaves to wait on her.;)

This is a great place to ask questions, everyone is very helpful and there is a lot of experience available.

:D
Wabbitdad12- Hi!
I think I recognise you from another forum! I was just talking to you the other day.
Small world, huh?
Thanks for the welcome to THIS forum. I'm thinking I'm going to like it here, too.
The people on here seem to be really nice!
Hoping to learn lots.
:):):):)

Hi and welcome! I love to hear about bunnies with personalities! And what is it with bunnies taking charge of cats? I don't have any cats myself, but it seems that bunnies always boss them around!:p I thought they were supposed to be predators of bunnies. It must be hilarious, however. I also love to hear that Missy is a retired breeder. Her time to be a mama may be over, but she has plenty of time to live as the queen of your household.

Oh and she is the queen! She's got a very spacious open-top cage I made from nic cubes for her. We call it the "penhouse". She's got fleecies, and toys (what are THOSE!), and lots of treats! Well, within reason, anyway. (just give me my banana, and nobody gets hurt, lol!)
We just love her to pieces.
She's recovering from pneumonia right at the moment. When I got her, she was seriously underweight. You could feel every bone she had. Being a new bun mom, I didn't realise she was sick, so it was another two weeks before I realised. Not until she started to have breathing difficulties did I realise, actually.
So, we got her treated for that. She got better. Now she 's breathing wonky again. So, we'll get more meds for her again, (oh no, not the yucky's!), and hopefully, she'll be stronger this time on the meds, as her weight is going up, and she's relaxing more in her new environment, so here's hoping that this round of Baytril will do the trick.
She's a lovely little girl, which is exceptional, coming from the background that she did, and this is why we spoil her so much, and just give her every comfort we can.
Her breeder had to have realised she was sick, or at least recognise that SOMETHING was not right with this rabbit. She was not gaining her weight back, and I think that's when she decided to "retire" her. When I got back to her that Missy was unwell, she wasn't concerned at all, and said sorry she couldn't help me. Cow.
She didn't look after her very well. Guess she didn't realise what Royalty is.
Well, WE have the royal jewel now, so here's to hoping Her Majesty will make a full recovery, and continue to be doted on for many years to come.
Oh, and by the way, the cats just love Missy. She doesn't come out of the penhouse just yet, as I don't want to go to fast with her, being sick and all, but they like to sit and lie down close to the bars of the pen, and just be with her, and she will do the same. Funny thing is, they don't ever try to jump IN the pen, and she never tries to jump OUT. And it's only one grid high!
Well sorry I've talked your ear off! I didn't mean to go on and on. I just loooove to talk about my girl. But then again, you know how it is with Royalty. Homage must be paid! :D
Thanks so much for the welcome. As soon as I have a decent camera, (please Santa!), I'll post some pics of her and her entourage.
Be talking to you!
Missy sends love to all!
