The company that makes the pellets that we feed our rabbits burned down.:tears2:

No idea when they are going to either rebuild or go to another mill plant.

Any suggestions on a different pellet? It was the Phause (sp?) mill in Missoula MT that burned down.

That is sad. I hope they can get the plant up quickly. I feed Oxbow Organic Rabbit and love it. I think it is hard to find at pet stores. Only Pet Supplies Plus and Pet People sell it in my area. But it is available online too.

flameable dust,,it happens.//.cargill--seattle mill-years ago caught fire due to dust igniting......,anyway if it was your only source of pellet//-try online-oxbow products--i feed purina rabbit chow,..all you need is a quality/lowfat pellet(maybe half cup aday)--was the fire pretty extensive??//will they rebuild??//-always a good idea to have a back up plan....sincerely james waller:wave:http://jewaller.webs.com

Thank you for the suggestions.

James no idea of what caused it. I had no idea that it have even caught fire til I went to buy a couple more bags. Our rabbits were running out. They were eating like crazy due to the cold weather.

I can the Purina and will give that a try.
