When I got him he was having a lot of issues. He was alittle over a year and the size of a 3mnth old. He than got really sick and was going down hill. I was force feeding him several times a day just to keep him going. The vet kept on telling me be prepared he more than likely has a short life etc. When gps go down hill they go fast. Which is how I loss my Mace, some how Merlin made it when Mace didn't.

Now, Steve isn't a fan of guniea pigs but even he said Merlin was cute! THAT'S how cute he is

It made me laugh that Merlin wants to watch Kill Bill lol..... :biggrin2:

My 4H club does guineas too and there is this rent a pig thing lol, where you can take one and see if you like them and all and see if they fit your lifestyle! We were going to do that a while ago but didn't so hopefully we can this year!

I love my piggies but HIGHLY doubt I will get them again.

Ali, what is guinea pig ownership like? I think they're so cute. Petco has piggies that people don't want anymore up for adoption all the time and I feel bad for the poor homeless babes.

i miss having pigs. i am extremely allergic to them, so i can no longer own them (bad like i can't breath, break out in terrible hives, ect)

i love the fact that they are so vocal! i remember whenever i would open the fridge door, they would start their "weehnk weehnk weehnk" lol. and watching them popcorn. . .

and i also love his color too! how adorable!
