Hi My name is Marie, I'm 23 years old and I'm from Canada.
I fell in love with this animal when I got my first bunny, back in 2000. Her name was Emily, she was Dwarf. She died in 2006, I then adopted Alaska, a mini Rex, who traveled with me to Belgium but she tragically died in March 2007 after an ear infection :upset: I'm very unfortunate when it comes to ear infections, Emily had one, and then Alaska... When I see my bunny with a slightly tilted head, I start panicking... Then in Belgium I adopted another rabbit, after Alaska died, I named her Maggie. But since I was moving back to Canada, and the costs are ridiculous, I adopted Maggie from poor conditions only to help me get through Alaska's tragic death, and made it my goal to find Maggie a better home before leaving. I found an amazing couple who already had a rabbit, she is happier than ever and well taken care of Back in Canada, I adopted my little man that I have today, he's 7 months old and his name is Bindi, after the late Steve Irwin's daughter... My tribute to him, he was my hero. The reason why he has a girl's name is because the breeder thought he was a female, so I named "her" Bindi, but as he grew up a bit, the breeder discovered he was a male, but I took him anyway, I loved him too much already. And I don't regret my choice, he is the sweetest, cleanest, cuddliest bunny ever! He's a Dwarf/Netherland Dwarf mix.
This is my story! I'm also owned by two cats, Phoenix and Silver and a hamster, Apple
Bindi's picture is in my signature, and in my avatar is Alaska.
I can't see my signature. How do I add it to my posts??
